I’m new to this, but I thought I would participate in the weekly photo challenge. The topic for this week is “Today.” The only rule this time is that the photo has to be taken today.
Remember even though the outside world might be raining, if you keep on smiling the sun will soon show its face and smile back at you. – Anna Lee
It’s been raining today, so I took a picture of the rain. It doesn’t happen often here as it’s a semi-arid climate. We really needed it. I loved the sounds of it. At times the thunder roared and the rain came down in torrents. But, it didn’t last long, maybe an hour or so.
So, what did I do? I stayed inside and finished off an intense novel called “Frame Up” by Eric Christopherson and Brad Schoenfeld. It’s full of twists and turns. A journalist agrees to allow himself to be framed for the murder of a policeman in order to expose the fallacy of the death penalty… the possibility of killing a person who is innocent. He has no idea, however, what is really going on until he is in prison and discovers that someone (he doesn’t know who) really has framed him and he isn’t able to just walk out of the place…
It’s a great read for a rainy day!
